We all got sick 2 weeks ago, but our girlies got the worst of it. They both were throwing up everything and sleeping constantly. Thankfully the next day they were both back to their normal and silly selves.

We bought Sadie this little mesh feeder and we LOVE it! She hated being fed with a spoon, so this works so much better. I only wish we would have got this when Bekah was this age!

This Winter Is The Best + A Little Life Update

 This winter has been pretty amazing! I can't remember many winters this mild. We have spent a lot of time outside and have had quite a few fires already :) These are a few pictures from yesterday..

We just made it through an interesting couple of months. Jared spent seven weeks in January/February in school getting his Level 1 in Carpentry. Since the homework load is quite heavy and the drive is over an hour one way we decided it would be best for him to stay there during the week and just come home on the weekends. It was a learning curve being home with the girls alone all the time, some days were tough and some were great. The first week was probably the toughest though. We took life day by day and tried to stay busy with play dates and other activities. Jared did amazing in school. I'm so glad he had the opportunity to learn some more and thankful he can put his skills to use in our home :)

 My kiddos are growing so fast, it's freaking me out a little, haha... Sadie is 5.5 months and Bekah will be 2 in just under a week!!

Sadie is very mobile, but not officially crawling yet. She scooches backwards and rolls/pivots on her tummy to get around. I have started her on some solid food, but not a lot actually goes down yet. She still sleeps great most nights, but I haven't stopped swaddling her yet. She is super cute bouncing around in her jolly jumper and loves to explore and gnaw on things.

Bekah is very "2." She is busy busy busy and so smart! She loves to sing, dance and be silly. Her vocabulary seems to be increasing daily. Bekah isn't one to play alone with her toys for long, usually she likes to do what I'm doing. However, her favorite things to play with would be her babies and her kitchen/food stuff.

Blue Eyed Beauty

"CeeCee Baby" ..as Bekah calls her.. is nearing 4 months. I have absolutely no idea where the time has gone. The early years with Bekah went by fast, but I feel as though these days are flying by even quicker. Probably because I have a toddler keeping me busy too. Sadie is a champ at rolling and is still an awesome night time sleeper! I think I need to start her on some consistent naps though, she has been more cranky lately and I think she just needs some routine. Sadie has been giving me lots of giggles lately which is so fun. It's hard to believe that soon she could be starting solid food! Yup, this girl definitely isn't a newborn anymore.

Toddler Shinanigans

Lately I've been finding strange things in strange places..

Bekah has a alphabet fridge game and it seems as though I've been finding the pieces everywhere.. like in the garbage bag box under the sink..

and "T" in the cupboard.. letters under the fridge, letters under the couch.. letters everywhere. On the plus side she can sing the whole ABC song like a champ.

She loves playing with her babies and always wants to be involved with Sadie. She likes being snuggled up with her, bathing with her and holding her (with much supervision of coarse! :P)

Life Update

Sadie is growing like a weed, she smiles and is starting to coo. Last night she went almost 7 hours between feeds. I think it's probably because I swaddled her very tight, whatever the reason I hope it continues! Her middle name is Grace and rightly so, God's grace was so evident in her labor and delivery! I didn't have to be induced, the timing was perfect, hardly any pain until transition, and a healthy beautiful baby girl!

 Bekah is learning new things each day. She can basically count to ten, but she forgets 4 and 8. She sings to herself a lot and loves "twinkle twinkle." She is also starting to string words together like "beebee cheap" (baby sheep) or "appo saw" (apple sauce). We have a lot of fun playing with her dolls and her play food. She is starting to play well with kids which is so fun to see!
